Angry Verizon Sucks

Please Login to Remove!

So far I have tried using Verichat, Ramble, and bbspell on my blackberry 7750 running OS 4 and nothing has worked. I get null protocol errors, missing IPPP desktop service book errors and god knows what else.

If anyone has Verzion Wireless as their carrier and uses any of these programs, please let me know why I can't seem to get them to work.

Thanks in advance,

J

in order to use those apps on a 7750 with Verizon, you will need to get 3rd party MDS hosting.

If you can return that device and get a 7250 instead, all apps will work right out of the box. In addition, the 7250 is WAAAAAY faster than the 7750...

I have been extremely happy with Verizon's bb service.

jsnakes1,

I feel your pain. I am in the same boat. The closest thing I have to chat is Blackberry Messenger. I want MSN, AIM & ICW so bad on my BB. Better yet, a version of Trillian for the BB would ROCK!

I agree completely! The problem is not Verizon, but the fact that your BB needs an upgrade. And I have to agree with jlopatin, you would be better off upgrading to a 7250 than getting 3rd party MDS hosting just to support these aftermarket software packages. Something to think about....
