Mine will not work in certain areas. I typically drive up Route 81 and basically once near Watertown, NY, I get "Data connection refused" but I can place/receive calls no problem.
Once crossing the boarder, I typically head out to the lake in Westport, ON and have never been able to get my data service working.
I don't want to say "It definitely won't work" because I haven't brought it with me to Ottawa, but just be aware that I have experience with it NOT working.
Yes I have, and I spoke to the Verizon People on the phone. They gave me 2 different answers. One of the customer service reps said that if i get unlimited data that it includes 100MB/month of Canadian Data. Now, when I went to go buy my phone they have told me they will charge me $.002/kb for data used outside the US.
I am just wondering if anyone from the US has used their verzion blackberry in canada and noticed what the charges were.
It's supposed to, but last time I was up there in November (Toronto), all I got was "Data Connection Refused" the whole weekend, because they apparently didn't properly set me up prior to me leaving. Even though I called 3 times and they said I was good to go each time.
