I need some help pairing my BB and my headset. I am following the directions and it keeps telling me no devices found. Any tips? I am anxious to try my new headset out. I have never used blue tooth before. Thanks!

Are you putting your headset in pairing mode?

P.S. Please don't double post.

Yes - I am putting it in pairing mode. I see the blinking lights like it says it should so that is why I am confused. Thanks for any help you can give!

Why don't you list the exact steps you are trying.

First I enable bluetooth on my phone then I turned on my headset. After it was on I held the button down for 7 secs until the red light flashed. The I set the phone and the headset right next to eachother. After that I did a search for new devices. It always comes up as no devices found.

What model are you using? Here's instructions for the 250t:

1. Ensure the headset is fully charged. If the headset is not fully charged, insert the headset into the charging cradle. Plug the adapter into the headsetxxx8217;s charging cradle and plug the AC adapter into the electrical outlet. Charge the headset until the blue light on the headset turns on.

2. Once the headset has been fully charged, remove the headset from the charging cradle.

3. Before using the headset for the first time, the headset must be paired with a blue-tooth enabled device (ie Blackberry 7520 or 7100t device).

4. To pair the headset with the blue-tooth enabled blackberry device, do the following:

a. Ensure the blackberry device is on and the headset is off.

b. Press and hold the Multi-Function button until you see a solid blue light and then release. This will take approximately 8 seconds.

c. Locate the Options/Settings icon on your blackberry device. Once there, scroll to the Bluetooth option.

d. From the drop-down menu in the Bluetooth options, search for the Bluetooth device by selecting xxx8220;Add Devicexxx8221;. The Blackberry device will begin to search for pairing Bluetooth devices.

e. Select xxx8220;JABRA 250xxx8221; when it appears on your display.

f. When prompted for a passkey, enter xxx8220;0000xxx8221; and click the track wheel.

g. xxx8220;JABRA 250xxx8221; will be listed under the Paired Devices in the Bluetooth options and the Bluetooth setting will be set as enabled (if found). If not found, repeat these steps.

h. You should also see a new icon on your blackberry device for the Bluetooth functionality.
