shortly after i upgraded to my bb9700 with tmobile i was texting away. i would read everything and the text notice would go away. later on i look at the screen and it has a message notive but without the red star. i been looking for the message all over so this icon can go away and have no luck finding it. can anyone help me out so i can get the icon off the screen.

Try pulling your battery for 30 seconds then replacing it. If you can't find the unopened message, check the "Messages" folder.

thanks everyone. the icon is now cleared. im new to BB's so im not too knowledgeable on them yet. i was actually looking to get the cliq when i walked in the store and noticed the 9700 had been released. took a look at both and jumped on the BB its a great phone!!!
