Default Bold antenna?

Please Login to Remove!

What kind of antenna will the Bold have? The specs I can find state that it will have the following:

UMTS: 2100 / 1900 / 850MHz, GSM: 1900 / 1800 / 900 / 850 MHz, GPRS, EDGE and HDSPA networks

From what I can gather, T-Mobile uses the 1700 MHz band for its 3G network. Will they be releasing a separate 9000 for T-Mobile, or will the soon-to-be-released version for AT&T be compatible?

So T-Mobile will need to release a separate model for their network. Is that what you are saying?

Kinda negates unlocking and using on another GSM carrier's network too, doesn't it?

Not just one band. T-mobile has two frequents 2100mhz and 1700mhz bands for 3G network.

Right, one for upload, one for down, but it needs both.

I was thinking the same thing Dubdub. Hoping to pick up an ATT Bold and unlock it. Not that it really matters, I suppose, I'll probably have another phone before T-Mobile ever gets 3G in my market anyway.
