I have Opera Mini on my 7100i and never have had a problem with it. There are sometimes where I have a data network issue where I won't be able to get on. Generally in my apartment, other than that, no issues.

Default Opera mini on 7100g/Cingular?

I know this has been requested before, and believe me I have searched, but I have not found a suitable answer.

Can anyone provide the final word on how to get Opera Mini to work on a Cingular/Blackberry 7100g? I have already entered the TPN information: (APN: wap.cingular; Username for APN: [email address]; Password for APN: CINGULAR1.)

When trying to run Opera Mini I get the 3.0.10:80/ error "You do not have a working network connection."

Are there any other settings on the Blackberry that need to be changed? Do you have to be running BES to use Opera?

I'm running BIS. I have a data account, good signal, GPRS. Both the stock Blackberry and Cingular browsers work. (I downloaded the Beta 3.0 using one of them.)

Thanks very much, Jim

I hear there is a low-end version of opera-mini. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but all I see here is that people that use it love it but no one is providing a solution to some of the questions that us "new" users are asking. ALl i want to know is where I can get the low-end version. If there is a link can someone post it? PLEASE

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7730/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

I'm using 7730 on Indosat network. Sometimes problem comes from internet connection of our operator but sometimes it come from opera proxy. In indosat network, bb subscriber usually has at least 2 APN active (satelindogprs.com & blackberry.net) if the first APN fail to connect mini opera to internet I switch to the secound APN. Sometimes this is working for me.
I still don't understand why its rendering so slow even the connection faster than mini opera on my SE K500???
