If you have OSX 10.5 then buy a copy of windows and use boot camp to set up a dual boot machine. This way you can boot into windows when you need to. Either that or buy a cheap used or reconditioned PC off ebay or Tiger Direct.

I keep a 4 year old PC laptop around for just this reason. That and to install my Garmin GPS software. The laptop mostly stays in a bag awaiting for something to need an update, lol.

not possible, I tried everyting, but lol, it's true, cannot do it from your mac.

Thankfully I had a windows machine before this one. Mac should work with everything. ::shrugs and frowns:::

Install VMWare Fusion or Parallels. You can then run Windows (I would recommend XP) in the virtual machine on the Mac. That is how I do it. I have Desktop Manager and Outlook installed in Parallels.

Good point...

I'm new to mac but I don't want to get into the whole, run windows thing. Maybe I'm lazy and maybe one day I'll be required to but, I left windows for a reason, so...updates on the windows computer it will be for a long while I guess.

It is great though, that windows can be ran on macs.

hmm, I got stuck at 'connecting to jvm' it wouldnt even sync. parallels has issues for me with many usb 2.0 devices. Ive posted on parallels forum with no responce.

Im glad its working for you, I ended up buying a copy of parallels and a copy of vmware, lol. twice as expensive that way
