Would love one, especially if it was the same size as the standard battery.

Yes, I too would be very interested in an extended but only if it was the same size as the original battery. As size was the main consideration factor in choosing the 8300, I doubt I would buy an extended battery if it affected the form factor/thickness of the device.

Yes - If it can fit in the existing case without a big bump-out... I know you guys did get one extended battery just 1mm thicker than the OEM, but if there was a way that it could fit with the existing back that would be amazing, as this is the smallest QWERTY BlackBerry ever created

Count me in - prefer one that fits in the standard OEM housing, but will take one with a small bump-out like the one you have for the 8100.

When I got the one for the bb pearl (the one with the backplate that was medium... so the 1250mAh) the back they sent me fit 10x tighter and didn't jiggle like the OEM backplate did. It also had the speaker hole which improvided the device's function for me. I'm 100% in support of them creating a back piece... clearly they're able to do it better than RIM.

Please add me to the list and notify me once the extended battery is available.

Thanks!

Agree with the above. If it fits within the OEM door, I'm in.
