My wife's 7250 is experiencing a bizarre symptom where while holstered, the red light comes on and stays on and when removing the Blackberry from its holster, the screen is completely blank. The only way to revive it is to remove the battery for a few seconds and then replace it and it reboots and will be fine for a few hours. This happens to her a couple of times a day. Has anyone had this happen. I tried to search this forum, but found nothing. Tried to search Blackberry.net but they didn't seem to have any tech notes on that. I have tried the 3 fingered salute ( ). I have reloaded the OS onto the device (backing up all info, erasing the BB, loading the OS and programs, restoring data).

If you are running the latest handheld software and have reloaded it and the problem prsists I would call tech support and either have them have a go at it or what I think will wind up happening is, escalate it to get them to replace the unit.

Yeah, that is what I have done. Verizon Wireless have a 15 day policy, which I think I am on day 17 or so, but they will see if they can replace it.
