The trackwheel on my 8700c broke so Cingular is replacing it under the warranty. They sent me a new 8700c but now I must return the broken one. Does anyone know how to easily delete my entire Address book, calendar, tasks, etc. so I can wipe the old one clean?

Go to options, security, click trackwheel and select wipe.

The best way is to use the Desktop Manager. Click on Back & Restore, select Advanced, highlight the Address Book, Calendar, etc...(you can select multiple entries with Ctrl) from right hand pane and then click on clear. Of course you can also use the Application Loader in DM to reload the device software.

While the Desktop Manager is a very good way to wipe a device clean - keep in mind that many corporate environs don't allow/install DM on the user workstations.

Using the device's built-in capability (security wipe) is an option for any/everyone .
