I'm new to Blackberry - only got my new curve 8320 yesterday.

Having problems using an application (Betfair) I downloaded as it says:

The application Betfair has attempted to access the network. Would you like to allow this?

When i selected YES this appeared:

Error
Network Failure - please try again
(27)

Does anyone know a way around this? or it is a common problem when trying to use java or other 3rd party applications??

Go to options, go to advanced, go to applications... Make sure its ALLOW for everything on your app. If you need help, PIN me. pin:241af464
