Default Something to share with all my fellow BB'ers [Ringtones]

Please Login to Remove!

Helllo all.

I am an avid phone-forum afficianado (I amsure I misspelled it) and have bveen browings the non-blackberry phone forums for many years now, and this is my first time posting on this Blackberrry forum.

First off, I would like to say thank you for all the information that is provided in these forums. Without posting a single new thread, and just reading and searching, I learned how to load my own apps, both OTA and through the USB, I learned how to load myown ringtones, how to load my own pictures, and much, much, more.

I recently received my first Blackberry. A Nextel 7510 BB. Kinda of a dry run, as I got it for free and if I like it (which so far I LOVE it) I plan on purchasing a 7520.

So, I would like to thank all of you by offering you all the simple ringtones I collected (and in some cases made) for my blackberry. These are monophonic midi's, and if your BB supports em, just point the browser at the following addresses to upload them.

Thanks for the great posting! There has been a few people asking about ringtones. Now people can refer other people to this thread.

Everytime I enter the http address into NOL browser I get an error message that says "HTTP Error 404: Not found" I know I have the address right becaues I tried it like 5 times.

It looks like they file names are case-sensitive. Make sure you're using the correct case. All lowers got me a 404, but the uppercase first character worked.

I have seen Chris5h around other forums and even done business with him and am glad to see him on this forum too! You will all see that he is quite a contributor...

With that said... Chris, you really have got to upgrade to the 7520... I have had the 7510 and am so glad I now have the upgrade. And thanks for the tones... its not like modding a /\/\ phone, but soooo much better in other ways...

Default its done for ya

All I had to do was browse to the link provided ... I listened to the file and within the audio player clicked on the wheel and selected SAVE ... I was promted for a file name (which was defaulted to the name of the file) ... Once the file is saved all you need to do is go to the sound profiles icon on the desktop and the saved mid file should be listed with the default ringtones
