There's a press release around here that says it will be available in stores and online starting 5/31.
I called stores in Orange County, CA this morning and got responses ranging from not knowing about it, telling me they would normally get the phones today if they're released tomorrow (and they haven't received anything yet) to it won't be released till next week. |

I read the press release as well.. I can't see it not releasing tomorrow 5/31 when it is an official RIM press release.. this is it guys.. It's finally here tomorrow.. Again, when you call stores, and talk to CSR's they don't know the slightest idea of what is going on.. I strongly believe tomorrow is it.. Again, we'll just have to wait and see.. |

Same here! My guy at AT&T is off today, so I called a ramdom store and they have absolutly no info on the device coming in tomorrow! I got a real winner on the line, pretty nasty (must have had 100 calls today). Anyway, I wouldn't worry, RIM already let out there press release. The stores will probably get them first thing tomorrow morning, and then start pushing them out the door! This launch is gonna go down to the wire...

maybe a noob question ...does it come with a belt case thingy? (W/ the magnetic lock in it). Or do I need to purchase one seperately?

Not sure but I get one from RIM a few weeks back as I love the leather case with swivel belt clip. They are selling on RIM or you might be able to get one at the store today!

True, per customer support, for existing you have to go to the store. So it will be dependent on policy for existings coming in to purchase, and how many each store gets.
