just got this deal emailed to me yesterday from my dear friend Lori who works for Microsoft as a program manager on the Live team:

here's the deal:

- search for the item on microsoft live search: Live Search
- alter your search terms as necessary until a link shows up in the "sponsored sites" sections of the search page with a gold label saying "Live Search cashback" and a link to ebay search.
- click on the link, and refine your search on ebay until you find what you want.
- the item MUST BE PURCHASED WITH "BUY IT NOW".
- once you hit "BUY IT NOW", you will be taken to the confirmation page before actually committing to buy the item. it will then tell you if it's eligible for the 35% cashback.
- YOU MUST PAY WITH PAYPAL.
- the commit to purchase must be completed within 60 minutes from the time you searched for the item on live.com
- after you complete the purchase, you must go to this site: http://cashbackaccount.search.live.c...k/welcome.aspx and register for a Live Cashback account with Microsoft if you dont already have one. if you do have one, a link to confirm your account status will be emailed to you.

within 60 days of the date of purchase, the 35% cash back will be deposited into your Paypal cashback rewards and can be transferred back to your bank account or spent directly from Paypal.

you are limited to 3 cashback rewards per ebay account, and cashback rewards must total at least $5 to be paid out.

oh ya, she said the deal ends once her team finds out they're paying out more for this than their normal cashback budget. she also said that once they do hit that point, it will revert to a 10% off discount.
