Default Price of new pearl on Tmob?

Please Login to Remove!

I’ve read that the new pearl is coming out on Tmob on the 15th? Does anyone know the price with contract extension?

I don't think the official pricing has been released yet, but should be soon. I am hoping they price it at $150 or lower.

the current pearl is 200ish on Tmob with upgrade. I doubt the new one will be less?

Just saw Q2 BizDirect pricing at $99.99 with $50 MIR brings it to $49.99 plus choice of car charger or BT headset... 1 year contract on new line of service.

I actually got my 8100 recently from Sams Club of all places. It was free with a new contract. Many of there other phones were also much cheaper or free compared to the Tmob site or retail stores. So dont forget to check out the not so usual places to acquire one when it comes out. I also found the 8100 for free at Walmart and BestBuy, but those two you could only get it for free by ordering online. Sams club was the only one where their prices were the same online as in store. Plus, you can pick it up and not have to worry about shipping, waiting, etc. So that was a big plus for me. Also, you do NOT need a Sams Club membership for their cell phone dept.

Correct. You are referring to the SCKiosks located inside of most Sam's Clubs. They are actually owned by RadioShack. The 8100 Pearl is currently free for new customers (on lines 1 & 2) if you purchase a BlackBerry data package of 9.99 or higher. If no data plan, then it is 29.87. Adding a line to your family plan is more expensive.

The thing about SCKiosks is that their new customer prices rock, but existing customer prices are not so good. I believe the 8100 pearl is close to $200 with a 2 year upgrade.

I just checked my.t-mobile.com, and a fully eligible existing customer can get the 8100 for 99.99 after a mail-in rebate. Knowing this, I would assume the 8120 will be more than that when it is launched.

I bought mine from wirelessbuy.com (t-mo only website). Got it for free (this was 1.5-2 years ago). They've got great prices. The Curve is $50 + $50 mail in rebate right now (I think).

I'm really interested in the new 8120. I was going to make the jump to the Curve, but I didn't like the size and the tiny QWERTY keyboard (never was a fan). I love the sure-type and the size of the Pearl. I was just jealous of WiFi and the lack of video that the Curve had. I hope the camera will be much better than the sub-par level of the 8100.

I just bought mine last week (as an upgrade) and it was $99.99 with $50 mail in rebate.

As for the new one... I think it will be priced around $150-ish... since the first one never really got over that price.

I just missed the $50/pearl sale that was going on by a few weeks. UGH! So sad!

BTW, looking at the write up I didn't see anything about GPS. I thought this was going to be a feature on the 8120. I guess not!

The 8120 has WiFi instead of GPS. The 8130 has GPS, but no WiFi.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8100 Pearl)

When I extended my contract in January, I got my Pearl for $99.99 after $50 rebate. Bought mine at a Tmo store.

What is the difference between the new Pearl and the current one? I just got a current model pearl for $99 with a 2 year upgrade from T-mo store.

If this has already been discussed can someone provide a link?

Thanks.
