I also found the 8100 for free at Walmart and BestBuy, but those two you could only get it for free by ordering online. Sams club was the only one where their prices were the same online as in store. Plus, you can pick it up and not have to worry about shipping, waiting, etc. So that was a big plus for me. Also, you do NOT need a Sams Club membership for their cell phone dept.

Correct. You are referring to the SCKiosks located inside of most Sam's Clubs. They are actually owned by RadioShack. The 8100 Pearl is currently free for new customers (on lines 1 & 2) if you purchase a BlackBerry data package of 9.99 or higher. If no data plan, then it is 29.87. Adding a line to your family plan is more expensive.
The thing about SCKiosks is that their new customer prices rock, but existing customer prices are not so good. I believe the 8100 pearl is close to $200 with a 2 year upgrade.
I just checked my.t-mobile.com, and a fully eligible existing customer can get the 8100 for 99.99 after a mail-in rebate. Knowing this, I would assume the 8120 will be more than that when it is launched.
