If anyone has done this, could you please post a high-res picture? I am thinking of buying a Yellow battery cover, but would like to see a picture before plopping down $99 before T/SH. Kevin's picture on crackberry.com of his battery and camera cover doesn't look so hot.

Pics of colorwared Blackberries:

HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource - My Colorwared Curve 8130

HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource - Is anyone sending their BB in to colorware?

No Bolds, but plenty of samples of their work.

You could also send an OEM battery cover to: Becky Mae - Blackberry Stylist - home she does very good work.

Personally, I would much rather spend the $100 on other accessories rather than just a color battery door. They would get a lot more customers if they dropped their prices to reasonable.

I got all excited, bit the bullet and bought a cover. Impressive shipping I must say. I ordered it yesterday and got it today. Pretty quick in my opinion. I've already got the black bezel. I'm debating on whether or not I want to put on the bottom blue piece. I went with metallic blue and carbon for the camera piece.

i agree 100%

they should do the whole fon for $29 or $39

they would be swamped!

although their quality work looks amazing and you get what you pay for...not a cheap process!

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I put the bottom blue piece on yesterday and, at first, thought it wasn't going to look good but I've gotten used to it now and think it looks pretty good too.

I didn't think the colors Kevin on CB got on his looked that great but it probably looks better in person. I think some colors don't photograph well. The pics I put up are very close but I to take a few pics before they came out right.

I wouldnt be crazy about paying that money just for the battery door to be white, but the ENTIRE phone would be cool, but that is a bit overboard price-wise!

That colorware site is awesome! Glad you posted it conker!

I really wish other folks had some of their gadgets done by this company, id like to see how they came out, besides sparkomatics, which looks like the paint job came out great

The paint job is really great. Phenomenal job actually. I ended up putting on the bottom piece below the keyboard which is the same color as the back and it looks really good.

I actually went back to see about getting the frame done as well but you can't just buy the frame...have to send the device in for that.

One thing I will say...the colors in their interactive site aren't the best representation. I clicked on the color description link and that will take you to photos of other devices in those particular colors. It's what I used to make my final decision.

Yeah, their gallery helps a lot. For a small fee I believe they will mail you color chips so you can review them before purchase. If I were doing a laptop or other big ticket job I might just do that.

Yours does look good! I dont think I have ever heard from a dissatisfied Colorware customer. Their colors and work seem consistently excellent, the only complaints I have ever heard are price related.

Hi Conker,

Your yellow battery door looks really good! I just got one myself, in Powler color. I changed the color of the frame as well.

I have quick question for you. Have you tried using the speaker while talking on the phone after you place this battery door? Somehow, when I use this batter door and use speaker while on the phone, the phone creates the "screaming" sound, like when you put microphone and speaker too close together and it creates the sound.

Do you have that problem? Thank you.
