PM me with your PIN. I'm gathering a list.
PM sent. If Stu is buying can I bring my own glass/mug?

LOL, wondered if you guys would get that! It is probably more fatal over here but I am up for the challenge. Thing is, I love the BB tech and evangalise all the time but as devices go, the windows ones just do so much more for me But then I run all messaging systems, so I think I can get away with it

I am used to buying pints, so a little American glass shouldn't be a problem :-> I love the way I get there last so have to buy once we are all there!

Call me stupid if you like but I'm yet to manage to establish a VPN connection to our office lan over 3g or WiFi using a WM5 device - "connection manager" should be renamed to "connection mungler" IMHO

I'm arriving Saturday! - so I'll be nicely in 'conference mode' come monday night.. but then have to come home Thr evening..

Stu - did you figure out the Visa requirements from the US Embassy website or have you got
a) a nice travel dept to sort that for you
or b) a new fangled biometric passport?

hehe all I have got is the standard machine-readable passport and if you have one of them with 6 months left and a blank page, you go through on the visa-waiver scheme (link). Assuming you have that you need nothing, but PM me for email address/IM if you want to chat, as it is dead easy unless you are a convicted underwear-stealer.

For some of you where I have your PIN, you should be getting a Blackberry Messenger invite. This may be the quickest way we can all communicate once we're there. We can also have a group chat.

Already established contact with juwaack and x14.
Waiting for responses from bertie, ladydi, mahoward, and chubbs.

If anyone else is going from here and needs advice re visas etc, just PM me. Basically, a standard machine-readable passport with a blank page and 6 months to go will serve you fine and if you have that and no convictions, in theory you don't need a visa (we use the Visa Waiver Programme).

Dept Homeland Security, required passport types (from BertieB) - link.
US Embassy, Visa Waiver info - link.

Wow, we're really getting up there on the number of people who want to get together for the Monday night for dinner/drinks. If you want to join us, please PM me with your PIN, Real First Name and E-mail. (No I'm won't spam you!)

As the date gets closer, I'll try to get a good count and figure out a restaurant that can accomodate all of us at the same time. I'll even call ahead to make a reservation to ensure we can all be together.
Here's who I have on my list so far. If your name is in bold, I have your PIN already. If I missed your name from an earlier post, sorry. Please send to me again!
