I have an 8703e and a vista laptop. According to Verizon, Microsoft has not released the software to allow users to tether to their phone. I saw a post from someone using Sprint trying to find a way around this. I'm confused (and a new user). Is there currently a way to do this with Verizon, or do I need to wait for the release. Supposedly it will be sometime this month. The store told me to check their website, but I can't find anything. Thanks for any help

Try installing the software if it does not work wait for the update. Vista is not yet supported on a lot of apps.

Go to the RIM website and download the latest version Desktop Manager 4.2. That is the Vista compatible version and should solve the problem. I don't tether my BB, but from what I have read on here, that is the solution.

New version (6.2.1) is out to support tethering with Vista.
