Dear friends,
The time has come for me to say farewell. I have step down from moderation and will be walking away from blackberryforums. Rest assured that nothing is wrong nor has blackberryforums mistreated me. Things in my life changed, just like they do in yours I am sure.
I can no longer devote enough time to be a moderator. So, the time has come for me to resign as moderator and retire the Gecko. It is a sad moment in my life, one that I have fought for a while because moderation and the Gecko were a big part of my life.
You never really know how much something means to you until you prepare to walk away. I am filled with sadness from head to toe. Those of you who are new, probably dont understand and that is ok. For those of you who have been around, I am sure you know how I feel. I know that for the last time I will be clicking the signout button on my screen as a moderator, something that I once worked so hard to achieve.
However, every chapter closes in our lives and a new one begins. I hope to be able to stop by once in a while. However, it will not be as frequent as it once was. I have only a few requests for my friends here.
Please keep the learning process here continuing and expanding so that new users can find peace with a sometimes confusing device. Please keep the atmosphere here friendly and warm. Friendships have been made at blackberryforums that have proven longlasting, some that carry on to real life. These are the reasons that I created the Gecko. To promote the friendly atmosphere that I know exsisted, but sometimes became lost. To make sometimes scorn felt users relax. I can only hope that it will carry on throughout my absence. I hope that you, my friends, will carry a little piece of the Gecko with you in real life.
