Default BeWeather (www.bellshare.com) IS THE WORST!!! DO NOT BUY!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD!!

Please Login to Remove!

I bought this application 2 weeks ago for the ridiculous price of $10.

They had absolutely no problem taking my money right away.

So after I download the app and I receive my "confirmation" email with my activation code, I go to register the application so it will be fully functional.

I put in my code which corresponds to my pin. A message pops up on my blackberry saying the code is invalid.

I though maybe I had put it in wrong, so I put it in carefully making sure each number is correct, still no good.

I then go to bellshare.com website which is BeWeathers maker, go to the "support" tab and request a new code. I input all the neccessary information, received an email from them promptly saying, "your new activation code is below" but guess what, that was the last sentence of the email there was no activation code below.

So then I emailed [email address] directly, it took a whole 2 days to get back to me.

When they did they said my pin didn't transfer correctly, so please try the code again and do a battery pull. I did that and still didn't work.

I emailed back saying it didn't work, another 3 days later I finally get a response saying "i re-activated your activation code, please try again and let me know" I tried again for the 15th time and it didn't work, I emailed him back. I have yet to receive a response from their customer service.

So basically for 2 weeks I have this app, fully paid for that doesn't work. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

I strongly recommend that blackberry users DO NOT WASTE your money on this application and company.

The application is fine. It works well. I know plenty of people that use it daily and have no issue with it. I can't speak for BellShare's customer service as I don't use it, although I have transferred registration from my old BlackBerry to my new one, and that process worked just fine.

Not sure what to tell you, but my (and other's) experience is not at all like yours, and I highly recommend the program.

Wirelessly posted (My name is Bubbles)

I use it, it works sometimes so from now on I'm paying a friend of mine 10 bucks a year to tell me what the weather is. I'm not going to bash them on here because it does nothing but make me look bad. I'm sorry your having bad luck with the app now because when it starts to work you will just be let down again.

Sorry you had issues with them... I love the app and it's well worth the measly $10...

Love my BerryWeather!

Honestly, other than not hearing back from them on the last email, you have gotten responses from them three times. No ideal at all on the last inquiry, but certainly not the worst around.

Works fine, i have even moved the registration codes over to new handsets with no issues. You're understandably upset. Try to relax and drop them another mail, i'm sure you'll be up and running in no time.

i don't use berryweather, but i do use berrybuzz (bellshare app too!), and i haven't had any reason to complain. i had an issue when i tried installing berrybuzz on my brother's bold, i had a couple of issues, but bellshare were pretty quick to respond. and no problems ever since!

+1. I use BerryBuzz and SmartAlerts, and have never had problems with either. Lost my codes once and they responded right away.
