Hello Everyone,

I have Bold 9780 which was on BES but now its not active BES service was terminated. now i want to export all my contacts to csv on another format which i can import somewhere else. When i connect to BB Desktop>Organizer> the contacts option is greyed out(Syncing wirelessly). How can i achieve this? is it possible to extract from BES ver 5 server? if i activate gmail on the same handset is there a possibility of syncing directly to gmail?

i saw this option, "Open the Contacts app on the BB, go to options or settings and turn off wireless sync. You should now be able to sync via usb. If that doesn't work go into the main Settings/Options and go to Service Books. Delete the Desktop [SYNC] service book." This worked but i have a challenge, it happens it has two contacts lists Desktop and another Desktop. it has only synced one Desktop contact list. how do i export the other one?

Do a search for an .ipd application reader.
It will open up the backup file and let you copy information.
