I'm ready for this device. The ATT boys have been running around with the bold for what, a year? All we got was the Storm. Which I passed on.

It was announced by Sprint and RIM 4 days ago. One article said VZW had not released a launch date as of press time. RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630 (Sprint) Smartphone reviews - CNET Reviews

I would have too, but mine is a company phone and my contract isn't up yet. And the release of 4.5 kind of kept me going for little while. But I'll jump at the this one. Unless Atlas is revealed as something to wait a little longer for.

A rep in the local VZ store told me "some day in July" for the Tour when I was there this week. Since this is the rumor mill I figured I would throw that out.

I would feel more comfortable if we had official word from carrier.

Yeah. Obviously, the close we get to mid July with no news, the least likely. Anyone have a contact?

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

Crackberry posted an article which may have inferred that this is still a go for July. We shall see.

Forgot to ask the VZW guys about the Tour :(

But LTE/4G looks good for the end of next year at least that is what they are hoping.

7 MBs down on a mobile phone that's pretty sick.. With the capability of expansion/upgrades.. That's gonna be some wicked technology.

More meetings with VZW will happen in the future hopefully I remember next time.. at work I tend to think about different things lol

Appears Tour will be coming to VZ on the 12th. This looks legit.

BGR has the preview ad posted this morning.
