I've had by bb for about 4 months now and absolutley love it. I like that I can get my e-mail and IM people from it. The web could be a little better though. I would rate it a 4 out of 5.

Well, althought I did eventually get a 7250 (just cuz I had to switch to Verizon for business), my 7100t was great. There are a lot of people who have complained about it but I never had any audio or volume problems. It is a little more phone oriented than the 7200 series but I definitely think it is great for messaging either way. Not as many keyboard shortcuts work but I don't think I'd say it really detracts from it. I know use a Series 60 phone on T-Mobile (my BB is only for messaging) and I find S60 to be really awesome. But I'm a little more multimedia oriented. I miss push email but it is just a different phone. Won't say it is better or worse than my BB's but sometimes I miss my 7100t... of course, if I ditched my N70 (Nokia) I'd miss that just as much.

I'd give the 7100t a solid 4 of 5.

I would give my 7100t a 3 out of 5. I do not have the phone/volume problems that many seem to experience and consider myself lucky in that regard. You get used to the suretype, though I'm looking forward to going back to a full keyboard on the 8700. I'm a little tired of the see/are confusion.

I give it a 3 out of 5, SureType kinda gets to me when I am talking on Yahoo and the other person is typing much faster then me, on my 7520 I could surpass them with no problems, now it takes a little work.

4.5 here. does what i need. datebook, email, web if needed. aol. msn... only reason its not a 5 is because the input is slightly quirky and you need to learn/adjust to it a bit opposed to traditional blackberry input.. that being said. its still pretty good , easy and fast enough to use rather than being something that would push me away from using it much or cutting things down to bare minimum vague one liners.

Thumbs down 7100g 1.5/5

1.5 out of 5... I have had my 7100g since November and I hate it. I am now on my third software revision. The phone drops call, reboots, hangs, and periodically decides to unpair with my car. And then, it drops out of GPRS and I don't get email. I agree with other posters on screen display -- not usable outside. Having spent another hour and change on the phone with tech support the other day, I am looking forward to a change. Hopefully, Cingular will make things better today when I head over to the store.
