Sorry to keep bugging you guys, I just want to maximize the functionality of this amazing device!

I'm a college student, so I'd love to just bring my USB cable with me to school, connect my BlackBerry to a PC, and print out a paper.

Is this possible?

I tried inserting the CD thatc ame with the BB, but it asks me questions about servers, and connecting to a message service, and I have NO idea what any of that is! I just want to be able to transfer a Word file to my BlackBerry, and vice versa.

Any help is truly appreciated!

Sorry. Wish it was supported. It may work on the new Pearl with OS 4.2 but I am not sure. Check out the 8100 fourm.

Why don't you just email the papers to your student account then print them out? Use the papers on your BB as mobile copies. You can't load programs onto university computers, its not allowed by students.

since i am a newbie too, can bb8700g read excel and word documents? and can i download the word / excel / jpg attachements and save them the devices?
