The 8700 is still a great device. A close second IMO

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/179)

I'll rather stay with my 8700 till the come up with a new model that includes wi-fi.

All and all the 8700 is a very stable and trusty device.

Because of it's size, the 8100 is not a bad option.Suretype takes a few day to get use to.
I'm trying one now.

Hey you did make the right decision to switch to BlackBerry. I have a large number of friends who owned Sidekick have switched to BlackBerry lately.

My 8700 is a great device, couldn't imagine not having it. I'm not sure whether to go to 8800 or 8300, heard good things about both but it's hard to tell without actually trying them both.

I think it depends on your use for the device. I have an 8700g and I have tried the 8300 and a friend at TMO let me try his 8800.

They are pretty much the same IMO, just different features in the OS and of course the trackball allows you to navigate a little better but overall the 8700 is the launchpad for these devices.

The 8700 is a solid device, if you want the newer model I say go for it.

I agree...they 8700g is so far the best one I've used!! Never the less if they provide another model with higher performance I might consider it.

Cheers!!

8700 is a freakishly awesome device... eventho the pearl and the 8800 came out, I still stayed with my 8700. But when the curve comes out.. I am def jumping.

do it.. if you're a qwerty guy then the 8300 is the best device.. ok so it doesn't have GPS but it's half the size and half the weight of the 8800...
