Default 8800 Gone from T-mobile?

Please Login to Remove!

I just wondering...

I was updating my comparison chart and I noticed that T-mobile is out of stock of the 8800.

I just wondering if they going to get anymore in or are they going to wait until the newer version comes out?

Hard to say for sure. I heard they were now only for new corporate accounts, but even those seem to have dried up. I would guess they're getting ready for the 8820 and we're done with the 8800 for good. AT&T has the exclusive on the 8820 while TMO has it for the 8320. Maybe some kind of a deal to release eachother's model before the exclusionary period ends is in order.

Get an 83xx. It's way better. I walked into T-Mobile just to play and was very pleased by the size and keyboard layout of the 8320 I put my hands on. It's mo better, but I wouldn't trade up because of the crappy network they have and the slllllllllloooooooooooowwwwwwwww browsing on it. Them jokers need some 3G quick. I would seriously consider trading my 8830 for an 83xx series if it ever comes to VZW.

I have sent back 4 8800's, WORST PHONE EVER IMO. I had several issues back to back, and the last one that I received was defective also. They are sending me a curve instead of the 8800, I hope it does better.

BTW the TMO rep said that they are discontinuing the 8800's, good deal!
