Isnt there a program that allows the razr to sync with outlook? If so go that route.

The V3 comes with a USB cable in the box. YOu can use the motorola tools CD to upload the contacts and sync with outlook. Then just sync blackberry. I also have a V3 and sync it with outlook (although not a clean process, frankly).

I don'tknow if this is another possibility, but can't you just save your contacts to your sim on the V3 and then copy them to the berry? I haven't tried this but I assume it would work.

Good luck. If you no longer have your motorola CD, let me know and I can email you the software.

Problem with using the SIM is that the multiple numbers for one contact (home, office, mobile, etc...) will appear as multiple entries in the SIM phonebook (JoeBlow1, JoeBlow2, JoeBlow3, etc...)

Yeah, that is the biggest problem with the V3s phone book. I really hated that about the phone. When you copy to outlook, it actually does something pretty similar to that.I have to use filters and rules to get it to work and even then it's sketchy. The v3 doesn't have the ability to have multiple numbers per entry, although it can hide the non primary entries in the list. Really all it is doing is assuming that each entry with the same name is in fact the same entry and sets one of them as primary, arbitrarily. In reality these are each individual phone book (and therefore outlook) entries.

It is a real *****.

Software sent via email. God luck!

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7520/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

Also the BB does not read the contacts from the sim, it only uses it for service. All entries are on the memory of the device. So your best bet would be thru outlook. Its easier to edit your contacts on a computer then on a BB.
