Has anyone had any success adding UMA to the unlimited plan for the 8120? I want to take advantage of the wifi coverage in my building since I have really bad mobile network coverage in my office. I do not care about the minutes since I already have unlimited limits. T-mobile was not able add this to my account since they don't want to double charge me.

you dont need to add it, you should get UMA without it. make sure your APN settings are correct and the router is compatible.

nothing to add in terms of plans. but you should use the "set up wifi" app on your BB to tell it to actually use the network -- just because it detects doesn't mean it will use.

also, if your wifi network at work is firewalled, it may not work...

since i don't have the phone from tmobile, mine is unlock on o2 so the settings are not loaded even after i downloaded the tmobile firmware.

Are you in the UK? Only Orange in the uk has UMA.

Other carriers in the UK have wifi but not UMA.

Your profile says you have an 8100, the 8100 does not have wifi.

Also, an UMA will ONLY work on the carrier that the device is branded to. You can't use an unlocked O2 device on TMobile and get UMA.
