Question International Pin Messages (BBM)

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,

I was speaking with a Rogers CSR today and I was told that sending international pin messages including BBM costs money. Like $0.25 each. Is this true? Or was she thinking was I talking about text messages only? If anyone can verify this for me, that would be awesome. I sometimes get frustrated talking to them.... =) Thanks!

She was thinking of SMS text messages.

BBMessenger and PIN messages come out of your monthly data package, and cost nothing individually. You can PIN or BBM with another BlackBerry anywhere in the world that you both have service from that data.

Yep. I'm BBM'ing with people in two different countries right now. Eating up megabytes of data, but no extra charges.
