The Weather Eye works ok for me. Weird. The only one I had before that I not cannot use on OS 6 is bbscanner.

I have to agree with walbern, the weather eye app does not work for me and i did try it on 2 other 9780's and got the same result.
The result being I can only see half the menu screens when initially setting up the up and when trying to enter a new city.

Same problem here with only seeing half of the menus in Weather Eye.

BeeJive, though available for download to the 9780 in App World, is not working for me. That is, it works until I try to scroll back through the conversation. Any attempt to do that freezes the phone, requiring a reset.

Upvise is working fine.

YouMail seems to be working fine. I've only used it a couple of times since getting the 9780.

Kindle app is fine.

I'm having trouble with Player for YouTube when on 3G, although I downloaded it to the 9780 from App World.

TuneIn Radio works well.

The eBay app gives me a warning when I open it, but appears to work okay.

No problem with Google Maps so far, and much quicker picking up GPS than it was on the 8900.

Poynt works.

What I'm wondering is why some of the main apps like Google Maps and Google Voice aren't in App World. I had to download them manually throuugh the browser.

Weather eye has had issues on every OS on the BB. It's a poorly designed and and more poorly supported APP. I saw the same thing as you all on OS6 and decided I'd had enough of them. Often, data is missing, which they blame on their providers...which I don't buy for a second.

I have a major issue with Google Voice on my 9780. It installs fine and allows me to make calls and send and receive SMS messages, but when someone calls me, and I have the call screening function on, where I have to hit "1" to talk to the caller or "2" to send them to voicemail, the app does not respond. I can hit 1, 2,3,1,3,1,2 nothing happens - its like the key punches are not recognized and the call ultimately disconnects (I am sure due a perceived lack of action on my part). Has anyone else experienced this. This happens on my 9700 too.

I sent am email to the support people for the weather app, they responded and sent me a link for a beta app. The beta weather app works perfectly now.

Since my original post both Weathereye and Scoremobile are working fine. I really miss Opera browser, it works but the pointer jumps all over the place and makes it barely usable.
