Vodafone has the service books, as they are a carrier of the Storm (9500).

Default Unlocked Storm For AT&T Network Use

Can I take the SIM card out of my AT&T Bold and use it in an unlocked Storm on AT&T's network? What OS will I need to use? Will my same cell number also work? Will all voice and data services work as expected?

Yes you can use any sim card on any OS to make calls and text. To get data you will need to download ATT service books. PM me if you need help

I don't know of any changes, the initial zip file I posted above of the Tmo service books corrupted somehow, so I just uploaded again the same ones, so these are likely the same as before.

I just got my BB and had it unlocked. Using it on AT&T. OS ver 4.7.0.75 I don't know how to install the OS to the PC or where to get the latest OS.
When I go to C:\Progra\common~~\RIM there is no Share directory.(because the OS is not on the PC?)
Please help..Thanks.

Default Help 9530 on ATT

How do I go thru the process to removed the COD, already install the OS on my PC but when following the instructions just get the message "No software is available for your device" any ideas ??? If I just close DM add the service book and move the COD back; how do I see that the COD is being replaced?

Thanks for your help

BTW My phone says on the top "Activation Required"

Your question really isn't very clear.. could you restate it? The simple answer is to follow the directions above, to the T, exactly as written.

Well, I was able to figure it out using a tool call: Crackutil.

For some reason after moving COD file to ATT folder and launching DM, it woldn't remove the module from the device (yes the proper OS was already installed on my PC), that tool allowed me to do so and I noticed that my BB rebooted, then I loaded the service book, reloaded COD file with the same tool, BB rebooted again and Volia !!!! BB Browser showed up and I was able to use everything.

Decided to use the switch deviced ulitiy on DM once it was done the Browser disappeared, haven't had time to try this again but once I do I'll let you know if it still works.

If you need that tool just google:

HowTo:Get All Features (Browser, MMS) Working on AT&T w/Unlocked Storm 95xx

And click on the first link.

FYI

If you are using an unlocked Verizon Storm and have "Activation Required" on your home screen or your phone number displays incorrectly, Dial # # 000000 (Send). In the Menu, change the mobile directory number to your phone number, click on the menu button and select save. The device will reboot and activate/display the correct number

I would suggest to you that the steps are written in order to help you achieve your goal.

Why wouldn't you follow the steps as outlined?
