I have no option to download attachments or retrieve them.
Is there a way to correct this

Many times the Blackberry Attachment Service must be installed in order to download attachments. Install the OS package to your PC and then plug the BB into Desktop Manager and run application Loader. Check the box next to BB Attachment Service.

Actually, you can check to see if it's already installed by going to Options >Advanced Options >Applications. Scroll down and look for "Blackberry Attachment Service."

I download the OS file and ran the Desktop manager.
I do not see any option for downloading attachments.
No place to put a check either.

You have to do it through the application loader after you've installed the handheld OS files. Place a check next to the Blackberry attachment service.

I ran the Application Loader connected to my BB after installing the OS software and no where did I see anything about installing the Download Service. Is there a place where I can see step by step instructions for this?

thanx that just help me out i had no clue y i couldnt download my attachments

Maybe it is because I use the redirect service that my attachments do not open. Under settings and options the attachment service is listed. I still cannot open attachments.
