Default BB Email with subfolders?

Please Login to Remove!

Ever since i set up subfolders in my MSExchange email account, no emails have been coming in to my blackberry.
I set up rules on my outlook to send destined to specific groups to go to specific folders. (I.e. emails destined to helpdesk would go to the helpdesk folder.)
Is this something I need to set up separately in my blackberry? or is it not possible to access MSExchange subfolders from the blackberry?

You can access subfolders only if you have a BES in place. With BIS service you cannot.

does the exchange server need the BES server enabled on it as well?
or do you just need the BES plan from the service provider?

Did you try this?

Set up from the handheld
To set folder redirection on the device, the BlackBerry device software must be version 4.0 or higher.
1. From the Home screen, go to Messages.
2. Click the trackwheel and select Options > Email Settings.
3. Click the trackwheel and select Folder Redirection.
4. In the Folder Redirection menu, expand the Mailbox by highlighting it, clicking trackwheel and selecting Expand.
5. Under the Mailbox, expand the Inbox by highlighting it, clicking the trackwheel and selecting Expand.
6. Highlight the folder on which you want to enable redirection. Click the trackwheel and select Change Option.
Note: If you are unable to select Expand for any of the folders, or if the Change Option menu option is unavailable, try turning Wireless Reconcile on the handheld off and then on again. You can find Wireless Reconcile in Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation.
7. Click the trackwheel and select Save to save your changes.

Hm.
When I go to Email Settings, there is no "folder redirection".
instead, i have...
message services (email address), confirm delivery (yes/no), conferm read (yes/no), send read receipts (yes/no).

oh, i have the latest version of the OS.
I don't have BES as part of my plan from T-mobile.

What about this:
To synchronize a subfolder using BlackBerry Desktop Manager, complete the following steps:

Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Click Synchronize.
Select the Configuration tab and then select Configure sync.
Check Address Book and click Choose.
Select Microsoft Outlook and click Browse.
Click to Expand your mailbox, select Contacts and then click Add.
A window will appear prompting you to add subfolders, click OK.
Click OK until you return to the Synchronize window.
Select the Synchronize tab, check Synchronize organizer data and then click Synchronize now.

To synchronize the subfolders in your inbox you must have the BES software installed and connected to you Exchange server. If your provider charges a separate fee for BES usage then you must subscribe to that service plan.
