Default Limit emails pushed to time frame

Is there a way/setting to have my work email (set up to be pushed via BIS) after a time during the day. All day long I send and recieved hundreds of emails...and they are all being pushed to my device all day. What I would like ot happen is at 5pm when I leave the office....at that time they are pushed to the device...rather than all day and all night. Ends up being a ton of deleting all day and 1 or 2 at night? Thanks

You need to have a BLACKBERRY DATA PLAN in order to get personal emails pushed on a BlackBerry device.

Call your carrier to get the proper data plan.

I have work e-mails pushed to my 8320 via BIS. Here's what I did.

In Outlook I set up a folder hierarchy in my Inbox. I have about 30 different folders within my Inbox and created specific rules that will automatically move incoming e-mails from the Inbox to a specified folder but only set it up to do so on the local machine. The key is to create this rule to run on the local machine only and not the server. When Outlook is running on my laptop incoming messages are automatically moved to the correct folder and since only the Inbox sync's no e-mail is pushed to the BB. As soon as Outlook is closed, e-mails are pushed to the BB once again.
