Default Why no usb 2.0?

Please Login to Remove!

I apologize if this is obvious to some - as I've searched the forums and found no answer - but why no hi speed usb support? I understand that adding considerable multimedia to a BB is a somewhat recent trend, but I haven't spent so long transfering music in, well, like..... never! And I understand the obvious work around.

Well you can always use a card reader, if you dont mind having to power down your phone and pulling out the battery every time you want to transfer media.

How do you figure that? Is your SD slot underneath the battery? My Pearl (8130) has it located on the side. I can pop it out, slap it in my computer, pop it back in. No need to restard.

Yes, the 8110/20/30 are the only ones with external access to the media card

I believe the 88xx series has access under the battery cover but not under the battery. Hot swapping is possible.
