I tried cc and they said not yet available to them. The only thing they seemed to know was that I qualified for the full discount and that there was none on this product. Does that sound right - so $349 is the price.

I do not know if Customer Service has any latitude in pricing as long as the meet the minimum sale price but I just spoke with Lisa and she offered me the phone for $314.99 and I have only been a customer 7 months with my 7100t. So a price lower than $349 may be possible, by the way she initially did not believe that it had even been released yet, had to request she verify it.

Not sure either about a min price, but Corporate Sales has been selling it for $299...

I got nowhere with CC. Was on the phone with them for about 15 minutes.
$349 was the deal...the same deal they give NEW customers. I said, so I am no better than a new customer after 17 months with you? He basically said it is what it is.
I even mentioned that I could probably get a better deal at a 3rd party company (eAccess, Karbon, etc.) for the device. The only problem is that I only use my device for the blackberry and not a phone, so I wont buy a voice plan and probably wont qualify for the discount/rebate.
I EVEN used the "C: word, saying I may have to look at other companies with better deals.
He didnt budge.
I really WANT to stay with T-Mobile, but feel a little bruised right now...maybe I'll get over it.
Jeff

I called the tmobile number on the top of my bill and I have a 7290 on the way shipped next day air. The guy I talked to was really cool and helpful, he even called some local stores to try and find me a unit locally. Then told me stores wont have them until the end of the month.
It was 349$ but what the heck its a writeoff
I had a sidekick that I broke this week and decided a blackberry is more my taste. If you called and they tell you they don't have it available I would chalk that up to a crappy tech and call back.
good forum guys I am glad I found it

I hope you all are enjoying the 7290. Make sure you give T-Mobile CC a chance to get it on there page. It didn't show up until midmorning on the 4th. They can't click to order something if it isn't on their page. Sorry. Hope you all have fun. Let me know if you need something.

Silverberry?
I actually saw a T-Mobile 7290 yesterday while flying back to Austin with a traveller who spends substantial time out of the country (he has had his for a while through Corporate Accounts). It is a unique color that will certainly be noticed!
