Default Question about using #777 with the Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

When using the phone as a modem, does the Blackberry do the data through the BIS proxy??? If so, is there a way to bypass the proxy and just use the regular Sprint data network??? A lot of applications allow this to happen, so I figured I would see if there is a way to avoid the proxy when doing #777 phone as modem????

No I have the data plan... Here is what I am saying though...

Normal data on the phone goes through the BIS server. The BIS server is slower than going through the Sprint Data network (in other words avoiding the BIS proxy). I would like a way (if it is possible) when using the phone as a modem to use Sprint data as opposed to the BIS proxy.

The Tour is blazing fast if you create a dial up networking connection with #777....

Not sure I'm following the whole proxy thing.

Then it must not go through the Proxy, therefore this is a non-issue... :D

(in my original post I actually asked if it did go through the Proxy).

Thanks!!!
