Default Screen Protector?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all, I just got my 8830 yesterday and I'm loving it. This is my first pda/smart phone type of upgrade. Now I just want to protect the screen. Currently I have the factory plastic on it and its already peeling after 24 hours. I'm looking to get a proper solution for this. Anyone have any suggestions for their 8830? I guess I should search. :|

You can go into a Gamestop or EB and get the PSP screen protectors that they sell. I think you get two for 9.99.

My iPod rubber case doesn't protect the screen on my iPod so I tried one of these and it seems to work well. I haven't tried the screens on the BB so I could only use a iPod as a example but they seem to work.

Make sure that if you use this approach, you are very careful with applying the screen. Dust and bubbles can and will get caught underneath the plastic as you apply it IF you don't heed the instructions.

Attached is a image. Excuse the background but I needed a 'dark background' in order to see the screen protector.

Boxwave's screen protectors are great, the "crystal clear" models don't detract at all from the screen image. I used them on my Treo religiously, and have a set on order for my BB.

Invisible shield all the way. By far the best screen protector I have ever used.

After I bought my iPod I waited until this shield came in before I even took it out of the box.

I bought a pack of these the other day: eBay: 3 Screen Protector RIM Blackberry 8830 7100t 7100x 7100 (item 110137952111 end time Jun-14-07 15:29:27 PDT) So far (too early to tell for sure) they are really nice. Crystal clear, can't really tell it's there. Perfectly die-cut for my 8830. Arrived in just a few days.

I'm very happy with the IS full body protectors for my BB's. The BSE is supposedly the same material and not as expensive as the IS.
