Its a great idea, however there are issues with implementation. I would like to have the login credentials the same but keep comment systems separate, however since the sites are on separate domains, it creates a major cookie issue.
Thank you for responding. If it is technologically and economically feasible, it would be greatly appreciated. I actually read your BB News site first and would go to the forum site to pick and choose the threads worthy to me of discussion. : -)

@akosnitzky - Devil's Advocate: Would your suggestion segregate discussions that are had within the community vs discussions that would take place by visitors that are only interested in the BBN.com site as a news source? As it is now, all discussions are had in the same place ... BBN.com.
One other thing, and I could be totally wrong here, but there is more than likely a goal to get traffic and Search Engine Placement improved on the BBN.com site, and pulling content (discussion posts) back to the BBF.com site could hamper that.
Based on the number of comments you are getting on the BB News Site from a given insert, please rethink the suggestion. Replying on the forum site would supplement greatly what is being posted now. In some cases, people may start a new thread anyway.
