I am one who always advises to use a BB Charger. However, there are others who feel it doesnt matter as long as its a universal charger. I wish I could have been more definitive

I'm like akosnitzky. I tend to buy OEM. It's a way of avoiding problems. Not buying the cheapest is also a bit of insurance. But a guy I work with is always forgetting his charger on a trip and runs into the first WalMart to buy a generic one. I think he owns seven chargers now, in addition to the original blackberry charger.

If I remember correctly, the tour's charger is also a micro usb and is the same OEM charger as the storm...so I would say yes.
