I am new to the BB world. I use a Pearl 8130.

I am noticing that the amount of free memory shown when I choose, Options> Status is different from when I check the memory with Alt EACE. (It is significantly different, sometimes as much as 40% different.)
Any reason for this?

the free memory is different? i have never seen it that different. Have you tried checking after a battery pull?

After the battery pull they showed the same amount of free space.

not a problem at all. thats generally the first way to troubleshoot an issue with the device. keep an eye on it and let us know if it happens again.
