So my wife calls me from her VZW 8703e today with an announcement:


wife: "Simpson, my boss has decided to reward everyone in the office with a new iPhone."

simpson: "OK...did he give you a choice? 'Cause I just busted my butt getting Unite to work right with our Blackberries."

wife: "It is a FREE @#$% iPhone! With service paid for! What is your PROBLEM?"

simpson: "Has he heard about the Bold? According to sources it is coming out this summer or on the occasion of Abe Vigoda's passing. Seriously, I read that on BBF."

soooo...I guess we will be changing service from Verizon to AT&T soon.

My plan is to get a gently used Curve to use until the Bold comes out.

iPhone...jeeez! Doesn't her boss know we are a Blackberry family!

Make an anonymous call to the boss and let him know his employees are loading up their company-issued iPhones with stolen music and adult videos. (For some reason, no one knows that Blackberries do audio or video)

After all, the iPhone is an entertainment device. A toy, if you will.

LOL...he is a Huge Apple guy. Jobs is a god, etc...we have had a few conversations about the Blackberry/iPhone thing.

My wife is excited...I guess I am too...her company is going to pick up my line too, so that will, in effect pu $200+ back into the TeamSimpson budget each month.

My beer budget rejoiceth.

Plus, he hasn't said that I would have to carry the toy phone, too!
