Question Removing Carrier Browser without hurting MMS

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

Apologies if this has been asked before or if its fairly simple, but I've searched and haven't found an answer for it.

I found (and confirmed by search here) that "Allow other browser services" needs to be set in the IT Policy to allow MMS messages. Unfortunately, enabling that allows the Carrier Browser to appear, which we don't want users to have access to. We would prefer that they use our internal browser, routing through the BES.

I thought that maybe setting "Allow IBS Browser" to False would remove it, but that hasn't been the case.

Anyone know a way I get get around this?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Same issue. Tried the same things. No luck. Any help would be bonus.
