I wish additional POP accounts could be sent to the handheld in realtime. However, if I'm ever in an emergency situation that needs instant communication via email, I'll just browse to the BIS via the Blackberry, and the change the reply-to . . . but, this then opens me up to the possibility of spam.

Have you tried getting a Yahoo email account? BIS 2.0 delivers integrated email in real time.

IS there a workaround.

Looks like the BIS 2.0 acts a little different then the 1.8. In 1.8 I had the From field (Lotus Notes Email Address 6.5). Every email that I sent out from my BB had this email address as the From. This work without a hitch.

Looks line in 2.0 I have the BB address as the email account but I have the Reply to as (Lotus notes Work email 6.5). Somehow my BB email address must be going out in the email because my Company is now stopping these emails from going through.

Could this be possible, and is there a way around it. Can I change anything. It has to be a security feature built into my companies email that does not allow a Spoofing email address.

Let me know what you think.

I don't have my Reply-To in the BIS as my Lotus Notes internet address, but an address on my mail server. Here's the email headers:

As you can see, the BIS is not sending your carrier.blackberry.net address when sending from the BB. Have you tried testing with the Notes admin? He/she should be able to diagnose what happening when it hits their servers.

If you start an email 'conversation' the polling period progressively decreases if the BIS keeps finding new mails to collect. It then backs off the polling timer again when things go quiet. If it always polled with short intervals 24/7, the polled ISP might think they were subject to a DOS attack!

Result is, that when you start an conversation by emails, you should quickly start seeing your new emails much more frequetly than every 15 mins (I can't recall how short the polling period can get ultimately). Anyway, a much better experience than waiting 15mins for replies!

Well, my ISP uses an "anti-backscatter" technique of looking at the domain of the sending SMTP server and comparing it to the domain where the mail came from. Maybe you have something similar going on...

I believe it may be something called Sender Policy Framework (SPF). We use it here on our servers. More and more mail servers are intergating it at the SMTP level.

No. Its my email address that appears on one of my Linux servers. The rules on Lotus Notes that forward copies of specific users is set to my carrier.blackberry.net address. When I reply or send to Lotus Notes users they see it coming from my address. And that account forwards to my BB address. It is not configured in the BIS.
