Default Setting Up a Microsoft Exchange Server

Please Login to Remove!

I searched this forum and did not quite find the answer I was looking for.

I just purchased a Storm 2 on the Verizon Network. Trying to set up the email, contact, calendar on Microsoft Exchange and can't quite figure it out.

I was able to get it to send and receive emails from my account (which is owa), but it is not populating my calendar or my 300 or so contacts from the Microsoft Exchange Server.

I have an Iphone as well and when I set up Microsoft exchange on my Iphone it automatically populated my email (sent items, deleted items, inbox) calendars, and contacts almost instantaneously.

What do I need to do for the same to happen on the Storm 2?

Thanks in advanced.

Sorry for the double post, it obviously was not intended. A little knowledge is appreciated though.

You will probably need to look into a BES Xpress server to sync the other items.
It is free, and can be installed on the Exchange server.
BlackBerry - Enterprise Server Express - Free BESX Download

Check out mailstreet.com Call them to set an account. I have had this service for quite a while. Works very well.

Wirelessly posted

If he can't figure out getting exchange to work I don't think he'll be able to figure out installing and configuring a BESX server.

Care to elaborate then?

I was able to setup the email to send and receive, but it is not syncing cals and contacts nor is it syncing email like my Iphone.

I set up my Iphone with Exchange with zero problems, no special programs were needed. Figured it would be just as easy with the BlackBerry since they seem to be the oldest brand of Smart Phones around.

What about AstraSync?
