Unhappy I'm so SAD about My BB BOLD

Please Login to Remove!

Hello

I always been a BB user but my curve was faster then my BOLD
Anyone else having this issue, if so is there going to firmware to fix it soon not sure if I can last that long LOL

So made the switch from my iphone to a BB BOLD and I can't stand the BOLD WHY oh WHY is the browser so freaking slow even on WIFI and 3G it can't connect to any websites, I tried everything I can think of, its so slow and about life of the battery is really not that great over all too but I can handle the battery life is about the same as Iphone.

As I been told I have the latest update software for my BOLD its on Rogers.

Very sad I was hoping for so much more with the BOLD everyone saying it going to be the BEST BB ever what a JOKE I feel, oh well back to my iphone I just hate touch keyboard and no PUSH email.
Thank you

When you say slow, are you talking about the wireless connection or the processor speed?

There is something wrong. I have not tried my WiFi on my Bold but on 3G the Weather Underground NexRad map downloads and displays in less than 5-6 seconds. It used to take my 8820 on my home WiFi about 15 seconds and my Curve about 20-30 seconds on EDGE.

You either have hardware, software of crappy location/reception.

3G is plainly faster, not just a little but alot. I would return it for another if you can not find the problem.

I do some web surfing and feel the bold is fast and okay .bb maps in pan mode on 3g loads fast .click a link to global weather 4me and the page loads in about 10seconds on 3g.

A new Bold Firmware will be Released on October 1.

This will happen by Telstra in Australia.

Don't expect them to fix all the memory leak issues. They will fix most but not all.

I disagree. I find it to be barely faster than EDGE on Rogers. WIFI is great, but 3G is not impressive at all. And, I have lost probably a dozen phone calls in the past week, something that never happened on EDGE!

I agree. I am debating going back to my Curve until such time as they come up with a fix for all this stuff. If they don't come up with a fix i will just sell it. Phone is very unreliable.

Listen to you whiney little b*t*h*s!!!!

If you upgrade to Vista on the day it launches........what happens?
If you buy the first Ferrari F430 that comes out of the factory........what happens?
If you buy the new BlackBerry the day it comes out........do you see where this is going???

If you're an early adopter then you're always going to suffer with bugs and issues, what on earth do you expect? I've always had beta code and evaluation devices (check the avatar, aight) and I respect the fact the problems come with the territory of getting stuff early. It'll all come good, chill Winston!!!

Crikey, it's like a soldier in Iraq complaining about the stray bullets.

Try sites with little to no Javascript. They fly. I think the biggest problem is the Javascript interpretation being slow. This site has a fair amount of Javascript and will be slow. Try World Wide Web Consortium - Web Standards (homepage of the World Wide Web Consortium). It has good content but no Javascript.

I paid $700 retail to buy this phone in the first week it was available from Rogers at the Rogers Store. How is that considered being an early adopter? Don't we have a right to stable products purchased from reputable manufacturers like RIM?

I do not care if you agree, I am telling YOU what 3G is like in Jacksonville, FLorida with a real carrier like AT&T! I have not had a dropped call in a year!

If you are not happy, take it back! I have used many Blackberrys for years and this Bold is the fastest on downlaoding. Speaker and call quality is better than any BB I have used. Looks like Rogers is your problem and RIM can't make them better.

OUCH I was just telling you how it is here in Canada and to further more I NEVER ever had an isusse on my 8310 and my 7290, I been dealing with Blackberry since the 957 came out so I know there much better built,

I FEEL they rush this out I have heard a few people and an few articles here one My BlackBerry Bolds Browsers Are Buggered. Yours Too? | CrackBerry.com complaining about load up speed.

Whether itxxx8217;s a Rogers or RIM problem when you build something and you buy something you expect it to work, if everything you bought (OH IT MIGHT NOT WORK YOU MIGHT HAVE TO BRING IT BACK) no one would have anything you would be stuck in line forever trying to return things to find one that finally works
