Default Shortcut for keypad lock?

Please Login to Remove!

I'd like to set a key shortcut for locking the keypad. On my 8700 I could just press 'K'. How can I do this on the 8300?

Phone Options > General Options > Dial From Home Screen > No

this will allow you to use the 'K' again.

You don't need to turn dial from home screen to no.

You can press the 'ALT' key and then press the Return arrow (one up from bottom right) and that will lock the keypad.

took me ages to figure that out, now i have to spread the word!

That doesn't lock the keypad...it brings up the option to change the input method.

With the dial from home screen ON - ALT Return/Enter works on mine.

Nice!!! Are there any other shortcuts you've found without turning dial from home screen to no?
