I want to know, is there a way to temporarily disable a BES user, BUT, not to remove his/her account completely? Thus they can still use their BlackBerry, but can't send / receive BES emails, but can still send / receive BIS emails...

disable redirection? right click on the user and select disable redirection from your bes console

Unfortunately that won't prevent the ability to send messages from the BES. You've got to remove the user from the BES to stop send & receive.

LOL - am taking a week off, and I didn't want to remove my account, only suspend incoming emails. So, looks like the 'disable redirection' will work like a charm.
