Default Call log auto deleting after 7 days?

Please Login to Remove!

On my 8830 my call log is auto deleting old ones after 7 days. Where can I access the options to get them to stay forever or at least longer?

Thanks

I was under the impression that anything under 10MB would cause the issue. Since you only have 5.5MB free you still need to free up some space.

i never knew there was a function to erase call logs after a certain time. i knew there was one for messages. in general options (in call logs) do you have "phone list view" as "call log"?

you need to keep working. I would personally get it up around 15mb.

that should.

My advice, pull your battery and let the BB reboot about once a week. It will clear your cache and free up memory and prevent this from happening, as well as help your BB not have the hourglass as often while processing.

Others may say this is not necessary, but I do it on my 8800 and my wife's 8100 (usually like when she is not using it, I just pick it up, pull the battery and let it reboot). I haven't lost my call logs, and neither has she. She stays down around 9-10mb free. Mine is double that.

Good luck

I reboot every couple of days and get back at least 1-2 MB...
