Default PIN's on BIS, Traceable??

Please Login to Remove!

Our company bb's are using the BIS to receive our emails. can they some how trace our PIN's and SMS messages??

I was reading and was only able to find post where they can trace them if you're on a BES, but can't find anything if you're on BIS.

Thanks in Advance.

they cannot generally get a copy of those texts though. carriers usually only let the law enforcement authorities get transcripts

PINs are not texts so they will not be listed on any bills

one reason I love PINS! They are also very quick and are very free!

yeah just a quick burst of data. i wonder if they pulled a detailed history of data usage if that would work, or if RIM keeps those on hand?

i wonder if that is going to present a problem with more and more consumers getting blackberries. it basically gives a free communication tool that not even a phone tap or SMS printout can retrieve. Criminals in theory can use this to communicate and not worry about police intervention, And if they had a BES they could remote wipe a blackberry if its ever lost or confiscated by the police.

I read a story about that already being done about a month ago. It was on Mobsters in Miami using BBs to hide since they were so secure.

Anyone know the retention time carriers in the U.S. keep SMS data?
